Drumroll Please …
Amara began her journey with our BGC family as a summer staff member in 2024 and quickly became a valued part of our team. She completed her final practicum with us and graduated with her Child & Youth Worker Diploma in June 2025.
Throughout the summer of 2025, Amara stepped into a leadership role, leading our 10/11/12 group with confidence, care and a strong commitment to building meaningful relationships with the children in her care. Her dedication and professionalism were evident in everything she did.
In September 2025, Amara accepted a full-time position as our Kinder Room Lead, where she continues to create a warm, supportive and engaging environment for our youngest members. Throughout her time at BGC, Amara has consistently gone above and beyond through her active engagement with each child she works with and the intentional, thoughtful programming she brings to our days.
Amara’s growth within our organization reflects her passion for this work and her commitment to supporting children and families. We are incredibly proud to recognize her as our Employee of the Month and grateful to have her as part of our BGC family.
