BGC Fort Saskatchewan proudly offers Licensed Before-and After-School Programs for children and youth aged 6-12.
Our programs are designed to support busy families by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children before and after school hours.
Before School Program
Nutritious Breakfast
We start the day with a balanced breakfast, ensuring children are ready for the day ahead.
Developmentally-Appropriate Activities
Children engage in a variety of activities suited to their age, encouraging creativity and social interaction.

Healthy Snacks
Following the Canadian Food Guide, we offer snacks to keep children energized.
Programming
Children have the freedom to choose from programs such as arts and crafts, music and movement, drama, reading, science, nature exploration, cultural awareness, STEM, sports, cooking, and so much more.
Skill Development
We focus on building various skills, self-esteem, and leadership through staff-directed and child-led activities.
Peer Interaction
Children are encouraged to create their own clubs, develop routines, and mentor younger peers.
PD days
On Professional Development (PD) Days
BGC Fort Saskatchewan offers programming to all our REGISTERED Out-of-School Programs (OSP)/Kinder participants on ‘no school’ days.
PD days MUST BE REGISTERED, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM.
Fees & Subsidies
Out of School Fees:
- Yearly Membership Fee:
- $15.00 per child
- $25.00 family rate
- Before and After School Program: $475.00 per child per month
- Summer Program: $725.00 per child per month
Subsidy Options
Alberta Child Care Subsidy
Families with a household income under $90,000 may qualify for government assistance. Once enrolled in our program, you can apply at www.alberta.ca/child-care-subsidy.aspx or click the button below.
BGC Full/Partial Subsidy
If you are not eligible for government subsidies, BGC Fort Saskatchewan can offer limited subsidies pending funding. We encourage you to contact our Program Director to complete an application. Once completed, the application will be submitted to the Executive Director for potential approval.
