Community Involvement Opportunities

Community Involvement

Our Community Involvement Opportunities program is dedicated to helping youth involved with the justice system positively contribute to their community. Through the Youth and Family Support Program, we collaborate with probation services and the youth justice committee to provide meaningful community service work hours for these young individuals.

Program Highlights

  • Community Involvement Work: Youth fulfill their community involvement requirements by engaging in projects that benefit the local area, helping them to give back and build a sense of responsibility.
  • Individual Support: We offer personalized support to guide youth through this process, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Addiction Support: Access to resources and counselling for those dealing with substance use issues.
  • Group Participation: Youth can also join various group sessions that focus on:
    • Anger Expression: Learning healthy ways to manage and express anger.
    • Self-Esteem Building: Developing a positive self-image and confidence.
    • Life Skills: Gaining practical skills for everyday success.

Our goal is to empower youth to learn from their experiences, build valuable skills, and foster a sense of pride and accomplishment. For more information about this program, please call 780-992-0103 or visit us in person.
